IF THEY HAVE ORDERED YOU TO TAKE A DUI/SUSTANCE ABUSE/DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS "COMBO CLASS",

THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED TO TAKE!

The DUI/SUSTANCE ABUSE part of the class is taught by a licensed, Nationally Certified Addiction Counselor!

Course Objective: To instill into students that defensive driving is a way of driving your vehicle that helps you avoid collisions and accidents regardless of the conditions and/or the actions of drivers around you. To educate individuals about how defensive driving goes beyond the laws of the road. To explain the laws of physics as they apply to moving vehicles and help individuals analyze their driving choices and the consequences of those choices. To nurture a peace of mind that allows you to be much more likely to be able to prevent motor vehicle accidents, even those that wouldn't have been your fault. To go beyond the normal DUI videos and explain the effects of driving while intoxicated to individuals in a dramatic, innovative and memorable style. To change people’s attitude about drinking and driving.

CLASSES ARE GIVEN

Rain or Shine

8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (4 hours defensive driving)

(1/2 hour lunch)

1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (5 hours of dui/substance abuse class).

Course Features: The defensive driving portion was designed with knowledge and understanding of the "Louisiana Driving Style". The class features short chapters, engaging animations and graphics, and multiple-choice quizzes for review; all designed to help you learn and remember the material. The dui/substance abuse portion of the class is conducted by a licensed addiction counselor who combines engaging topics and discussions with fun memorable group games.
