Q: YES, BUT IT'S VERY SHORT......... WHY?
A: POPULARITY
Victor Manning Driving School is the most popular driving school in Louisiana. As a result, our students sometime experience a few weeks wait between completing the classroom portion and actually getting behind-the-wheel.
Add more staff you say?
Yes, we could add more cars and instructors, but that would force us to lay off people in our slow season (Sept.-Nov). We prefer to keeping our professional driving instructors happy and working year round. Therefore we offer the following tips on scheduling your behind-the-wheel time.
TIP #1
BE FLEXIBLE!
The most commonly requested times to drive are:
Monday - Friday .......... 3pm to 7pm
Saturday & Sunday ...... All day
If you could start your lesson at anytime between 8 a.m to 1pm, (or after 7pm) you could probably COMPLETE your driving portion in a week!
TIP #2
CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE CLOSELY!
So many people assume they will be in class everyday "from now until summer".
Many schools have scheduled half days and teacher only days. Check your schools schedule.
If you GET CREATIVE with your behind-the-wheel schedule, you will finish much sooner!
TIP #3
DON'T CANCEL ANY SCHEDULED LESSONS!
Once you book a lesson, keep it! Not only do you risk being charged a $50.00 cancellation fee, you also set yourself back, as far as, driving behind-the-wheel!
Check all prior engagements in advance, and if run across a forgotten event, you may need to SKIP IT!
