What's Next For Teenage Students...

After successful completion of 30 hours of in classroom instruction the student will receive an email containing his/her passed digital test results and following the 8 hours of Behind the Wheel instruction*, the student will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion inside a sealed enevelope.  ALL envelopes must remain sealed prior to bringing to Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV). If the student is under seventeen years of age, the student will be issued a learner’s permit. The student will need to bring his/her Certificate of Successful Completion (please note: the white copy(inside sealed enevelope) will go to the OMV, the yellow copy is for your personal records**), email with digital test results,  and two forms of identification. The student will hold the permit for a minimum of 180 days and cannot move to the next stage, Intermediate License, until 16 years of age. While driving with a Learner’s Permit, the student must be accompanied by a licensed parent, guardian, adult at the age of 21 or older, or licensed sibling at least age 18 or older. The student must also complete at least 50 hours of supervised driving, 15 of those hours at night.
