TEMPORARY INSTRUCTION PERMIT

Students no longer require a temporary instruction permit(TIP)

to begin the classroom portion of Driver's Education.

 

Students  must be in posession of the TIP card in order to take the state digital test and to complete the 8 hours of behind the wheel training, but you have 90 days to accomplish this!

Documents required to obtain a TIP card:

 
 
Proof of identification is required. All minors must present the following identification:
 
a. An Original or State Certified birth certificate
 
b.Verification of your Social Security number is required.
 
c. High School Attendance Form is required-student must be at least in the 8th grade
 
d. A custodial parent or legal guardian must sign the application.The parent or legal guardian
 
must present identification and the legal guardian must also present legal documentation
 
verifying the guardianship.
