Preparing for the Road Test
Our hands-on driver training is grounded in years of professional experience. At Victor Manning Driving School, you will enjoy our patient and friendly driving instructors, who are there to support you every step of the way.
Louisiana Law requires students ages 15-16 to take eight hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. However, we recommend a minimum of 12 hours for almost all first-time drivers.
Once you have completed our theoretical training - or if you have already passed the Written Exam - you may sign up for driving lessons. We have a modern fleet of vehicles, and will teach you everything you need to know about operating and maintaining a motor vehicle.
